This class of children in New Zealand followed me a cross their Country.. I had to visit their class in Meadowbank School Auckland. It was an amazing visit they named my bike Sparkle in a contest. I told them many stories answered many many questions and we all shed a tear when I left. Below are a couple of the many letters I got includining one trying to set me up weith the teacher. Hey Rudy, I know i have already sent you a letter but i was busting to do another one.I don't get much time because my brother hogs the computer and he is probably going to come down and get really furious at me. Now let's get on with the video. I love who you are, that's what make you an incredible, kind and caring person. You have always put in a lot of effort in saving the world. How do you feel about leaving your family and when are you going to achieve your goal that you have been aming for a long time. My teacher Miss Powers said when you arrive at Auckland you will be bike riding with her.I think you will really like her. Her real name is Niki. I hope you really like each other a lot and go on a bike ride together. From Ayzha:

Hi Rudy You are so brave you fight through freezing cold weather and I would get scared if I had to camp out alone. It must be scary I bet you miss your parents. I can't believe you missed Christmas but your doing the right thing for children wha have cancer you must have a sweet heart. Realy hope when you come to Auckland you really feel like you belong here. You must be tied. I bet It is amazing adventure around 30 countries it's amazing that you can do that.

                   My Journey

I am a fire captain and cancer survivor.
I have now cycled around  the earth  by bicycle for cancer charity, but my journey is not over. I followed the rules of Guinness global 0circumnavigation. Same bike, same direction, cross two antipodal points, the equator and cover at least 29,000 km.  My final legs were crossing Australia north to south and east to west across the deserts bringing the total countries crossed to fifteen and a distance of 29,000 km over 10 years. The journey now continues to the most desolate and highest points of the earth.  email:
