Swimming Alcatraz

Well today I found myself caught "Between The Rock and a Hard Place" I made a 1.5 mile swim from Alcatraz Island to San Francisco " Where when I touched ground I was promptly arrested by the SFPD. They want to keep the record to nobody ever escaped! As I expected the water was very cold, a two foot chop with 4 foot swells, strong currents and I swallowed a lot of water. I was pretty sick on shore from the water ingestion and vertigo inner ear from the cold water but nothing serious. But Hoo Lee Chit I made it. I am just so happy today I conquered that fear and had another chance after cancer to challenge myself like this.
