Next Challenge: Everest Summit

12/18/2017

I cycled 29,000 km around the world. Mount Everest is 29,029 ft. I have been contacted by a company that followed my adventures and been invited to join an expedition that has a 100% success rate to climb Mount Everest in 2019. It would require one year of training, several other climbs ahead and 3 months to reach the summit. Of course I said .....YES.
So stay tuned here, the next time you see this peak I will be standing here! Like I said about all the other places I told you I would be standing and I always did!.

                   My Journey

I am a fire captain and cancer survivor.
I have now cycled around  the earth  by bicycle for cancer charity, but my journey is not over. I followed the rules of Guinness global 0circumnavigation. Same bike, same direction, cross two antipodal points, the equator and cover at least 29,000 km.  My final legs were crossing Australia north to south and east to west across the deserts bringing the total countries crossed to fifteen and a distance of 29,000 km over 10 years. The journey now continues to the most desolate and highest points of the earth.  email:
