New Zealand: Penguins

I am very excited about cycling across New Zealand next because the south island has penguins. I found kangaroos so interesting in Australia especially that you could even get right up beside them in the wild.New Zealand is the nesting ground for nine of the sixteen species of living penguins and one of the best places in the world to go to get up close and personal with these cute little birds. Nine of the 19 species thee breed and the rest are "Just Visiting"
