Cancer Sucks

My third cancer fight is on deck. Likely from 10 years on the road,in all the deserts and sun on my "anti-cancer" rides.He is cutting it out and sending the lymph nodes in for testing. Luckily its not as dangerous as melanoma but regardless... its the shits. One day the Cherry Blossoms are so beatiful the next day it rains and they fade and all fall. Enjoy every day because the next day......Im still swimming Alcatraz, doing an Ironman in July and climbing Everest in 2019..... no matter what!

My Journey

I am a fire captain and cancer survivor.
I have now cycled around the earth by bicycle for cancer charity, but my journey is not over. I followed the rules of Guinness global 0circumnavigation. Same bike, same direction, cross two antipodal points, the equator and cover at least 29,000 km. My final legs were crossing Australia north to south and east to west across the deserts bringing the total countries crossed to fifteen and a distance of 29,000 km over 10 years. The journey now continues to the most desolate and highest points of the earth. email:
