I want to thank EVERYONE for making this amazing journey across Australia possible. Together we raised almost $10,000 in Australia alone for cancer research and still rising . It's not just myself on this journey its all of us working together as one making this dream to conquer cancer a reality. All the wonderful Australian people that took me into their homes, gave me a bed, fed me, helped me find my way. Most of you did not know me, you trusted this person without ever having met me but out of human kindness guided me along. The friends on Facebook inspiring me, prodding me to go on. The family that stopped to helped me after a truck blew me off the motorway crashing into a ditch off the freeway in a desolate area. My bike sponsor Rob in Vancouver Dunbar Cycles that believed I could cycle around the world before I even started. Gypsy-Leigh Productions that supported me from before I even started to the last day. The Australian firefighters from Cairns to Melbourne that supported me, the media at homeThe Province NEWS 1130 that helped with awareness posting my blogs and tweets. The Legendary Pacific Coast that posted my pictures and Rudy Project for supporting my technical cycling gear. I feel so blessed to have all your support and lifelong friendship. You will never be alone!

                   My Journey

I am a fire captain and cancer survivor.
I have now cycled around  the earth  by bicycle for cancer charity, but my journey is not over. I followed the rules of Guinness global 0circumnavigation. Same bike, same direction, cross two antipodal points, the equator and cover at least 29,000 km.  My final legs were crossing Australia north to south and east to west across the deserts bringing the total countries crossed to fifteen and a distance of 29,000 km over 10 years. The journey now continues to the most desolate and highest points of the earth.  email:
