After starting out with howling winds and a torrential rainstorm in Wellington Mother Nature blessed me. The sky's opened to piercing blue, lined with tiny puffy cotton balls of clouds racing along above me in an almost perfect 30 kph northerly tailwind. A tailwind so strong my flags whipped my ass along at Tour de France speeds of constant 40-50 kph. I even found a 20 km bike path in rolling hobbit style hills dotted with cows and sheep. The Tasman sea to my left could be mistaken with the California coast with the rolling seas, long sand beaches dotted with California pine and palm trees. Directly west lies Austrian about 3000 km away. Starting to feel really strong my muscles from my upper body have all shed into my legs for the centaur style look. Thanks for following my journey I am, glad I can share and make people happy.
