The New Zealand Fire Service is proud to be hosting Canadian Firefighter and cancer survivor Rudy Pospisil while he cycles the length of the country raising funds for Leukaemia & Blood Cancer New Zealand.
Rudy is completing a circumnavigation of the earth and his travels now bring him here to NZ. Rudy has already set a new world-record climb up the steepest street on Earth, Baldwin Street in Dunedin, in 3:49:24. "It was the hardest physical thing I have done in my entire life, ever," said Rudy. The Baldwin Street challenge will now be an annual cancer charity event.
