I Never Give Up

When I small the other kids would make fun of me beat me up and even stole my bike. Because my name was Rudy, my parents were from Austria, and I was not very tough. In School we went for a tour of the Fire Station. I decided I would become a firefighter. It looked really exciting and I could help others. I knew I could pass the tests because I never give up! When I tried out for all the physical tests I was against 1250 much bigger and tougher men than me for 12 jobs . They laughed again. Well here I am. I do not think at all that I am better or stronger than anyone else. I never give up. I don't care any more if anyone laughs.
